Elder Abuse and Scams: What Estate Planning Professionals Need to Know

The BCEPC wraps up it's 2018-19 calendar with a presentation and panel discussion on a subject that is of increasing importance to all senior service professtionals - the rise in incidences of elder abuse: financial, physical and psychological.
The panel will include a member of the DA's Elder Abuse Task Force, a representative from Adult Protective Services, and a bank officer discussing banking initiatives to spot and prevent financial abuse. Scams, red flags, prevention, and prosecution of financial crimes will be discussed.
This is BCEPC's Annual Meeting, with the largest attendance of the year, and the installation of officers for 2019-2020.
